Budget Impact: Benelli Slashes The Prices Of TRK 251, 180S And Panarea 125

With the government revising the excise duties for two-wheelers assembled in Nepal and announcing a tax cut for motorcycles between 200-400cc through the new budget, Benelli Nepal has slashed the prices of a few of its models by Rs 25,000 to Rs 60,000. KTM International, the sole authorised distributor for Benelli in Nepal, has slashed the prices of the Panarea 125, 180S and 180 Neon, and TRK 251.The Panarea 125 which was earlier priced at Rs 3,34,900 will now be available at Rs 2,99,900. The 180S and 180S Neon will now cost Rs 4,29,900 and Rs 4,39,900 from the earlier Rs 4,54,900 and Rs 4,64,900, respectively. Similarly, the TRK 251, will now be available at Rs 7,64,900 from the earlier Rs 8,24,900.Benelli TRK 251: The quarter-litre adventure tourer from the Italian two-wheeler maker is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that churns out 24.5 bhp at 9000 rpm and develops a maximum torque of 21 Nm of 7500 rpm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a six-speed gearbox.Benelli 180S and 180S Neon: The Benelli 180S features a 175.3cc single-cylinder triple-spark ignition engine to produce 18 bhp at 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 14 Nm at 7000 rpm. Transmission duties in the 180s are handled by a six-speed gearbox.Benelli Panarea 125: The Panarea 125 EFI houses a  single cylinder air cooled 124 cc engine with EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) that churns out a maximum power of 8.5 PS at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 9.2 Nm at 6000 rpm.
